Finding an Installer
Choose from any of fifty states, and notice if the installer is certified or not. We recommend that installers be certified for the best, most consistent results.

What is a "Certified" Installer? Why should one use a certified installer?

Why Dr. Johnson Cares

What's Customary Pricing On An Aquascape Pond? Because they are more direct representatives of ADI's products and services, CAC's avoid gouging. Certified installers depend on your references, and so fair and relatively standardized compensation for a good pond is typical, while they eschew gouging.

Top Ten Questions - To ask your pond installer. Steer clear of an installer without the depth to handle at least these questions.

Dr. Johnson's Pledge

I pledge to contribute to the further education of all Aquascapes Pro Pond Distributors and Certified Aquascapes Contractors in any capacity I am asked to. This includes the hosting or presentation of retailer and installer seminars geared towards preparing these parties for the task of providing the best possible consumer experience. When quality and integrity come first, the money will follow. In this vein, I foresee my educational efforts will reach the most important of the fish keeping community: The ones who first advise the hobbyists as they proceed into this area.

You have a great pond there. It's built on great equipment and you couldn't ask for a better support organization. You (PPD's and CAC's) need to be trained how to respond, truthfully, when you hear naysayers carping about gravel in the pond and other criticisms which may, or more hopefully do not, apply to your installations.

If you don't know "the ins and outs" of the "Koi-Keeper-Complaints", this is exactly the reason for this pledge. There's a wrong way to deploy an Aquascape pond for Koi, and the intended, right way. And it's a simple matter to know the difference, really.

Properly educated and well-informed, PPD's and CAC's could function as "the Jedi Knights" of the hobby, maintaining order and eliminating dark myths and other untruths from the hobby.

So, if asked, I will help these people be the best they can be for their customers.
